As an addition to her coaching work with choirs, Maggie is also in demand for her ability to “voice” choirs. This is a procedure (it’s not painful!) where Maggie listens closely to each choir member, while they sing carefully chosen, appropriate music, in small groups. She then balances the colour, weight, timbre, texture, overtones, harmonics etc. to create a fully blended, balanced and homogeneous (she likes to call it harmogeneous!) choral concord. The singers then discover greater vocal ease, as they are singing next to compatible voices, and the resonance and tone quality of the ensemble develops dramatically.
This can be done as a one off session initially, depending on the size of the choir, with follow ups when necessary.
